Natalie & Ed Downtown Annapolis, Maryland

A few months ago I was sitting in Starbucks with Ed talking about his plan to propose to his girlfriend Natalie!! Natalie and her girlfriends had plans for her birthday weekend in December, so that seemed like the perfect time to do it! We were at the end of Ego Alley in downtown Annapolis, waiting for Natalie’s car to pull up. Ed was standing at the end of the dock across from Pussers, where Ed and Natalie would always stand to watch the……*ahem*……rowdy people at the bar. Natalie’s friends had her eyes closed as all three of them squished under their pink umbrella, and of course, video taped the whole thing (as all best friends would do!). The three finally arrived to where Ed was standing. With friends watching from afar, Ed grabbed her by the hand, and in the pouring down rain, got down on one knee and asked his bestfriend to marry him. Cheering and laughter broke out as she said “YES!” Not even the rain could ruin this moment for them! Then the future Mr. & Mrs. went with their big group of friends to celebrate Natalie’s birthday, and the love between her and Ed.

Congratulations Ed and Natalie!!

Thank you so much to my amazing assistant Tricia for braving the rain to help capture these sweet moments!

I love these photos! I think the rain forcing them to share an umbrella makes them even cuter!!

  3. Christa Rae Settle says:

Aww, this is such a cute proposal! The rain makes this surprise proposal epic – like a scene in a Nicolas Sparks movie.

  4. Tricia Oxford says:
