I’m so excited to finally be able to share these!!! Becky decided to do a bridal portrait session a few weeks before her wedding day, and it was one of my favorite shoots of all time! I love bridal portrait sessions because it allows me to photograph bride’s and their details in the BEST lighting conditions, and it gives me more time to photograph them in the dress they become a wife in! Think about it–most wedding days you see online, the couple is getting ready in a hotel room. There isn’t much window light, there’s a handful of people in the room with them, there’s clutter that gets hidden…sometimes it’s just not ideal! But with bridal portraits I can pick places with amazing light, and you end up getting more pictures! It’s a win-win! (except I always want to share pictures, but I have to wait until after the wedding, which is soooo hard!) I was thrilled when Becky wanted to do her bridal portraits at The Lightbox in Annapolis! It’s my favorite natural light studio, and the simple scenery made Becky’s gown and flowers pops! I also loved that Becky had her wedding hair and makeup trial the same day, and she had a mock-up of her bouquet made for her portraits! See more of her Chesapeake Bay Beach Club wedding day HERE!
