Michelle & Matt had a very intimate marriage ceremony a few months ago, and then they had a wedding to celebrate with all of their family and closest friends! Michelle has the BEST style (her blog is #goals), so I knew this day would be nothing short of stunning. What I did not expect was for her to pull inspiration from Skinny Dip in Charleston, South Carolina. If you have ever been to Skinny Dip, you know that they have the infamous floral wall, cutest tropical patio furniture, and yummiest frosé. Basically a tropical + blush dream come true! Michelle made it feel like everyone was on the Skinny Dip patio drinking frosé. She had the most gorgeous lush green florals, pops of palm print linens, and the prettiest hints of blush! The best part– her crazy talented step mom made most of the decor, including the florals! I told her she is hired for my future wedding 😉
Even though it looks like we were in Charleston for the day, it actually poured the whole day. If I’m being honest, it was the rainiest wedding I have EVER photographed. It didn’t even lighten up to a sprinkle at any point of the day, straight downpour was all we had. But these two were such champs, and they were more excited about celebrating their marriage with all their guests! It was absolutely perfect!
My Little in my sorority was the Maid Of Honor! Look at her being cute with her boo <3
