After going through my website and deciding if my photography style aligns with what you envision for your wedding, shoot me an email! From there I will make sure I am still available on your wedding day, learn a little more about you two, and send over a pricing and information guide.
I love hopping on the phone with couples (or even better, meeting for happy hour!) just to make sure we are a good fit! I will be with you more than any other vendor you book for your wedding, besides your planner, and if we have similar personalities it makes your wedding much less stressful! Then it just feels like a friend is in your face with a camera, and not some random girl, ha!
Once you decide if I am your dream wedding photographer, it’s time to make things official! After deciding on which package would be the best option for your wedding day, I will send over your contract and I’m officially your wedding day third-wheel!
AKA your modeling debut! Don’t be nervous, I will walk you through everything. By the end of your engagement session you will be so comfortable in front of the camera, and you’ll have “kiss with your teeth” down to a science!
2 months before your wedding, I will send you a questionnaire that outlines your whole wedding day! It asks questions from the names of the people in your wedding party, what family pictures are important to you, all the way to your timeline! I will print out the questionnaire and bring it on your wedding day, so I know exactly what’s happening at all times.
It’s finally here! Today your one and only job is to have fun. Don’t let any of the small details stress you out, because at the end of the day you’ll finally be married and that’s all that matters!
I will deliver your final gallery 4-6 weeks after your wedding day, and once the gallery is in your hands (er…inbox) the images are all yours to share!
If you decided to add on an album to your wedding package, we will start the design process after your gallery is delivered. Once you pick your “must-have” images for the album, I will start designing the spreads and we will revise from there!
She was the most amazing photographer a bride could ask for. She is so sweet and her photography is stunning! She even didn't think twice when I asked her to jump into a dingy to go to a sandbar for more pictures. She definitely made the day! The very next day after my wedding I got a sneak peak of about 170 photos!!! THE NEXT DAY AT 9AM in the morning!!!!! My wedding went until 11pm!!! I was so amazed at her work ethic! I could not believe how many I got so quickly! And I got my entire gallery of pictures 3 weeks after my wedding!
Madison was fantastic. She knows what she's doing, and our pictures were great quality. She's creative and artistic. Even if some of the poses may feel awkward (like walking and kissing) Madison keeps it fun and interesting because she knows how great the photos will turn out. The shoot was a blast, and we are so happy with how they turned out.
Madison and her assistant did an incredible job at our wedding in November. They arrived early, paid incredible attention to detail, and were absolute professionals throughout the entire day... I was a little nervous about not having the engagement shoot to get to know Madison, but we met her for coffee a few weeks before the wedding and I showed her some sample photos that I liked so we went into the wedding day on the same page. Madison has a great eye for capturing beautiful shots and I thought we had a nice balance of candid and semi-posed photos. After the wedding, Madison sent me the sneak peeks within 36 hours and we had the full gallery within 10 days. I could not believe how fast she turned them around and the quality was spectacular.
Working with Madison was amazing. From the planning, to the engagement photo shoot to the wedding, all of our pictures were taken beautifully and she didn't miss one picture that I wanted to be taken. She was very organized and stayed on task, along with keeping everyone else on task and where to be. She did a fantastic job and I am so pleased we chose her as our wedding photographer!
Madison and her second shooter, Sarah, were so easy to work with on our wedding day. We had some challenging family dynamics and Madison handled them like a pro. She was able to easily pose our large families and keep everyone happy. For bridal party and shots with me and my husband, she did such a great job guiding us with posing that nothing ever felt forced or unnatural. The resulting photos were so perfect. Our ceremony was outdoors and our reception was indoors, and she was able to skillfully handle both lighting situations. We received a sneak peak gallery within 24 hours and our full gallery less than a month after our wedding
All wedding packages include an engagement session, 8 hours of wedding day coverage, a second photographer, an online gallery of the edited, high-resolution images, and me as your personal third-wheel.
Couples spend an average of $4500.
I include a second shooter with all of my wedding packages, because I think having one is very important! While I am with you getting ready the morning of your wedding day, my second shooter will be with your fiancé and photograph them getting ready. When we reconvene at the First Look or the Ceremony, we will then start photographing the same thing but at different angles. For example, during your First Dance I will have on a zoom lens to photograph facial expressions, while my second shooter is on a wide lens and can shoot any twirls or dips you two decide to do during your dance!
My style is bright, colorful, and fun! I love simplicity with pops of color, and quirky details unique to your love story. I love letting the day unfold naturally, while also stepping in and giving direction and placing you in the best lighting situation. Candid’s are my favorites, especially of people dancing their butts off at your reception
It depends on your coverage time, but you can expect between 100-150 images per hour.
I use an online gallery system, which allows you to have access to your images anywhere you are! The gallery is a simple URL, so sharing with family & friends is a breeze. Within the gallery, you are able to download all the images, post on social media, and print!
I have shot at many venues in the Baltimore/Annapolis area, but if I have not been to your venue I would love to add it to my list! I walk into every situation and analyze the lighting conditions and make a mental game plan, even if I have been there dozens of times!
I use a client management software called Honeybook, which I use to send out all my contracts & invoices. To reserve your wedding date, I require a signed contract and a 50% retainer. The other 50% is due one month before your wedding day.
Whenever you’d like! I have had couples who wanted Summer-y beach engagement sessions, and others who were crossing their fingers for snow. It’s completely up to you two when we schedule your engagement session.
HECK YEAH! My favorite destination being Disney World, but I love exploring new places!
I only include the JPEG files of the images, because I consider the RAW files to be unfinished. My RAW files will look the same as any other photographer’s RAW files, and they are not the finished product you see on my website. Think about it like this: when you buy a book you are buying the author’s final copy, not their rough drafts!
I deliver final galleries 4-6 weeks after the wedding day. Don’t worry, I’ll send you some sneak peeks before then because I know you’re anxiously waiting to see them!
I do! I take my favorite images (usually the emotional ones) and give them in color & black and white. If there is a specific image that you want in black and white, email me and I’ll add it to your gallery!
Engagement sessions are complimentary with every wedding package and cannot be substituted for a discount. Your engagement session is an important part of your wedding experience, and it actually helps ME as well! The engagement session is usually the first time you two have ever had professional pictures taken together, so I use this time to get you two comfortable in front of my camera! Then on your wedding day you two are basically professional models and portraits are a piece of cake. Depending on the circumstance, the engagement session can be substituted for another option!
It all depends on your timeline! Is your getting ready location in a separate place from your ceremony? And reception? You’ll need to factor in travel time to each location! If everything is in one place 8 hours is usually the perfect amount of time, but lets chat more about this!
It all depends on your timeline! Ideally I arrive while hair & makeup is still being done, and I leave after the last event at your reception! Email me and we can talk more about this!
I send a questionnaire out 2 months before your wedding day, and it will outline everything I need to know! From the names of the people in your Wedding Party, the family pictures that mean the most to you, all the way to the names of your other vendors so I can properly credit them on my blog. I print out the questionnaire and bring it on your wedding day, so I have everything I need to know with me!
I will actually send YOU a list of images you can expect from me! From there you can add any specific images you want, but I cover all the basics!
